The Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management certificate equips students with the technical skills needed for entry-level positions in transportation, warehousing, inventory, and global supply operations.

The Logistics Technician Certification Program is a fast-track course that prepares students for the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) credentials aligned with the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC). Students gain comprehensive training in logistics and supply chain operations, including foundational and technical competencies needed for entry-level industry roles.

The program prepares students for entry-level positions in machine shops, manufacturing facilities, and industrial plant maintenance. Students gain hands-on training in machinery, equipment operation, and workplace safety to support a variety of manufacturing and maintenance careers.

The Marketing program at Houston City College offers industry-focused, student-centered courses designed to prepare graduates for today’s fast-changing business environment. Students examine topics such as culture, social institutions, organizations, race and ethnicity, gender, social inequality, technology, deviant and criminal behavior, collective behavior, and social movements. The Multidisciplinary Studies in Studio Art award prepares students for transfer to four-year institutions to complete a baccalaureate degree in art. Studio Art and Art History is the study of visual art and culture. The curriculum focuses on the examination and creation of visual artworks that are informed by wide-ranging concerns, including the formal elements of art and principles of design, technological and social issues and personal expression.
