HCC’s Biomedical Electronics program prepares students for in-demand health care technology careers through hands-on training with the equipment used in hospitals and clinics. Three HCC Honors College students transformed a NASA-developed technology into a proposed automotive safety system designed to reduce nighttime headlight glare, earning a spot among the nation's top 20 teams at the 2026 NASA ORBIT Challenge.

HCC and Space Center Houston have joined forces to propel STEM education and strengthen workforce pathways for students across the Houston region.
