F-1 Student Fall 2026 Orientation
Welcome to HCC! The International Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming New, Change-of-Status, Transfer, and Reinstatement F-1 international students.
You are only required to attend ONE session. Please choose either the online or face-to-face option below.

What We Will Cover
This essential session will help prepare keep your F-1 status during our time at HCC. Topics include:
- Maintaining your F-1 visa status, International student health insurance, ESOL & Academic Advising, Academic integration and student engagement, Title IX resources
Important Instructions for Attendees
For the Online Session (Webex):
- An invitation link will be sent to your primary email. We highly recommend downloading and installing the Webex application on your device prior to the orientation day.
- To register, click on the link and simply enter your first name, last name, a valid email address, and your HCC ID number on the registration form.
- Ensure your digital calendar is set to Central Time (CT) so you do not miss the start.
For the Face-to-Face Session (Central Campus):
- Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code. Save this email, as the QR code will serve as your entry ticket.
- Please arrive early to allow plenty of time for parking and locating the Central Campus Auditorium.
